When precariousness of human life appears, it is possible that recognition of other humanity could be present. Precariousness emerges as the Face is seen as an irrefutable appeal which comes to me through the Flesh of the sensitive. However, in the media, the face is framed in such a way that its representation ends up dehumanizing or covering up human suffering. It is necessary to question this framing so that the politics of recognition is constituted by the undeniable appeal of the face carnality that makes resistance before social vulnerability. For this discussion, it is intended to propose a dialogue between Merleau-Ponty, Levinas and Judith Butler.
