CONSIDERAÇÕES ACERCA DO ESTATUTO DOS CURSOS NO CORPUS BERGSONIANO

The aim of this essay is to provide an outlook concerning the edition of Henri Bergson’s Seminars, which has been initiated in the end of the 1980’s. For such, we are going to discuss some of the philological, methodological and hermeneutical issues that this material has been raised. Firstly, we organize a brief account of Henri Bergson’s published and authorized works followed by some remarks about his teaching career. Then, we enumerate all the seminars that has been published in French so far and indicate some of the philological difficulties that has been pointed out. In the sequence, we approach questions related to the authorship of the texts, the supposed impartiality of Bergson’s teaching, his articulation between research and teaching and so on. Finally, we presented different views regarding philosophical relevance and the possibilities of uses of these writings.
