Das formas à causa exemplar: causalidade metafísica e homologia em Platão e São Boaventura

O presente artigo tem por finalidade esclarecer as relações entre a filosofia grega e a filosofia cristã medieval. Nosso propósito é fazê-lo através do estudo de dois grandes pensadores, quais sejam, Platão e São Boaventura. Intentamos refletir a respeito da semelhança entre a concepção das Formas platônicas e o exemplarismo boaventuriano, a fim de demonstrar que a causação metafísica estabelecida pelos autores é indispensável para compreender as faculdades cognoscitivas humanas, as quais só são possíveis mediante uma homologia entre o intelecto e a realidade inteligida. Para tanto, o trabalho está divido em duas partes: a primeira abordará o diálogo platônico Fedro, a fim de explicar as doutrinas metafísicas e gnosiológicas do texto; a segunda tratará do opúsculo do doutro Seráfico Intinerarium Mentis in Deum, buscando compreender a relação entre o exemplarismo e a teoria do conhecimento em Boaventura. Palavras-chave: Metafísica; Causalidade; Platão; Boaventura.   From the Forms to the Exemplar Cause: homology and knowability in Plato and Bonaventure Abstract: This paper aims to clarify the relations between Greek philosophy and Christian medieval philosophy. Our purpose is doing that through the studying of two great thinkers, to wit, Plato and Saint Bonaventure. We intend to reflect about the likeness of the Plato’s notion of Forms and the Bonaventure’s exemplarism, in order to demonstrate that the metaphysical causation drawn by both authors is indispensable to understand the cognitive human faculties, which just are possibles by means of homology between the intellect and the intelligible reality. Therefore, the paper is divided in two parts: firstly, we going to approach the platonic dialogue Phedre, searching to explain the metaphysical and gnoseological doctrines from the text; secondly, we going to deal with the Intinerarium Mentis in Deum by Bonaventure, to grasp the implications of the exemplarism on the theory of knowledge in thought of the Seraphic Doctor.
