The last stage of the philosopher Louis Althusser awakens a great interest in the resolution of many questions appointed since his first publications in the decade of 60, among which the most relevant of them is the teleology in the historical materialism. However, his publications about the so-called “Aleatory Materialism” just appeared post mortem and also the fatidic episode of his wife’s murder contributed to the repudiation and the fall into oblivion of the author.
