Filosofia e Literatura:: apontamentos sobre o romance

This paper aims contribute to elucidate the relationships between philosophy and literature by examine the novel as fictional narrative. To do this it takes the ideas of Paul Ricoeur’s philosophical hermeneutics about the inextricable interwoven between narrative framework and its mimetics function. The notion of “works autonomy” is put in relief and “text world” is distinguished from “action world” to elucidate how fictional narratives are in human existence by common time dimension. Some conclusions are indicated about specific knowledge by fictional narratives, this which combines singularity and universality on its own way.
