The 21st century reveals a significant push for fusions between science and technology, unlike other historical stages. Human beings and their daily lives are being transformed by technosciences. In that regard, this study contains a double purpose. On the one hand, it contextualizes artificial intelligence within the orbit of the fourth industrial revolution. And, on the other hand, it examines positions regarding the differences between machines and humans. The findings show how machines evolve and become more sophisticated. Faced with this, in relation to what is human, perspectives for, against, and in-between become perceptible. This panorama makes the participation of bioethics as a deliberative and disciplinary meeting place inevitable. Its contribution is focused, promotes dialogue, and encourages prior corrective measures for self-control.
