2023Yasmin de Oliveira Alvez Teixeira. Mundos (in)compossíveis: o fundamento em Leibniz e Deleuze. Cadernos Espinosanos, n. 49, p. 185 - 202, 2023.2
In order to construct his own philosophical edifice in Difference and Repetition, Deleuze devoted himself early on in his career to the systematic research of what he called the “minor lineage” in the history of philosophy. In this article we seek to explore specifically deleuzian struggle with Leibniz’s thought, situated at the edge of this lineage. Although a more extensive monograph was published by Deleuze only decades later, we follow the hypothesis that his 1rst critical remarks on Leibnizian thought appear already in the seminar What is Grounding?, which addresses the problem of grounding. In light of this text, a productive perspective for understanding the relationship between the philosophies of the two thinkers is opened.
