It is based on a brief diagnosis of current times pointing to the emergence of new paradigms in the field of sciences and to the massification and ignorance of man in the so-called control society. In this context, with Nietzsche, the possibilities of humanism as an educating force are questioned and what role should be played by teachers and educational institutions. It concludes by taking as a guiding thread the motto of Pindar - Becoming what if it is - taken up at different moments in the work of Nietzsche.
