O início da reflexão do conhecimento sobre si mesmo na Índia antiga

Este artigo visa apontar o começo do pensamento crítico na Antiguidade indiana, ou seja, entre os séculos IV a.C. e V d.C., representado pela antiga palavra sânscrita Anvikshiki, bem como seu provável papel epistemológico na formação dos Sistemas de Pensamento Indiano (Darshnas). Ademais, analisar seu significado etimológico, fontes literárias, dificuldades históricas, receptividade nos círculos indianos e, sobretudo, sua contribuição epistemológica para a formação e o desenvolvimento da exegese indiana. O estudo endereça-se especialmente a historiadores interessados em pesquisas filosóficas além do eixo grego-europeu. Palavras-chave: Anvikshiki; Indologia; Epistemologia Indiana. Abstract: This paper aims at pointing out the beginnings of critic thought in Indian Antiquity, id est, between century IV B.C and century V A.D. This paper aims at pointing out the beginnings of critic thought in Indian Antiquity, id est, between century IV B.C. and century V A.D., meant by the ancient Sanskrit word Anoiksllilci, as well as its likely epistemological role on foundation of Indian Systems of Thought (Darshanas). Also, to analyze its etymological meaning, literary sources, historical difficulties, reception in Indian circles and above all, its initial epistemological contribution to foundation and development of Indian exegesis. The study is interesting especially for historians concerned with in philosophical researches beyond the Greek European axle. Key-words: Anvikshiki; Indology; Indian Epistemology.
