O que há de trágico na era da técnica?

We propose to understand the technics and the danger it presents departing from the notion of tragic. For this, we seek to connect Jünger's theory of technics and his heroic realism to the philosophy of the tragic from German idealism. Then, we try to contrast this conception with the Heideggerian interpretation of the danger of technics as a catastrophic threshold in the West. Between the two “tragic” conceptions, we glimpse what Schürmann called, in Heidegger, a tragic “temporal disagreement” in the domain of technics capable of leading to a planetary catastrophe or another beginning from the thought of being.
