Obstáculos e possibilidades: o lugar do poder no modelo narrativo de self de Seyla Benhabib

This article proposes an evaluation of the validity of Amy Allen's critique of the “rationalist residue” of Seyla Benhabib's narrative self in the context of the “problem of the subject” as presented in her work The Politics of Our Selves (2008). We propose an interpretative line that aims to offer an approach to the obstacles and possibilities of incorporating power into the narrative model of the self that questions the validity of the assumption of a rationalist core remaining in the self.
