This article aims to present the feasibility of deconstructing humanist thought, from the perspective of french-algerian philosopher Jacques Derrida. From this derridian reading we will be able to glimpse not only the metaphysical constitution that organizes the concepts of man and humanism, but also understand how Derrida beckons to the possibility of an opening to think about a displacement of what the french-algerian thinker called “we-the-men".
