Sobre o espaço: noções gerais a partir de Aristóteles e Henry More

Resumo: O presente artigo visa apresentar uma exposição crítica a respeito das noções de Espaço fundamentadas a partir da relação estabelecida entre o pensamento de Aristóteles e Henry More. Tal relação buscará, além de pontuar criticamente a exposição de cada um dos pensadores, uma análise crítica acerca destas duas distintas compreensões que se mostram fundamentais para a construção de uma teoria do conhecimento. Em um primeiro momento será discutido conceitos fundamentais que estruturam a noção de espaço enquanto uma teoria do lugar em Aristóteles, para, então, contrapor com o pensamento de More e sua noção de mundo indeterminado e infinito. About space: general notions from Aristotle and Henry More Abstract: The present article aims to present a critical exposition about the notions of Space based on the relation established between the thought of Aristotle and Henry More. Such a relationship will seek, in addition to critically scoring the exposure of each of the thinkers, a critical analysis about these two distinct understandings that are fundamental for the construction of a theory of knowledge. In a first moment we will discuss fundamental concepts that structure the notion of space as a theory of place in Aristotle to then counter with the thought of More and his notion of indeterminate and infinite world.
