This paper aims to introduce some arguments in the current debate in Philosophy of Religion, especially in the controversy against Naturalism. Our approach will focus on the moral significance of the idea of God, as well as on some other relevant moral concepts, to wit, the concepts of moral consciousness, moral world and the very idea of “good”. In sum, it is our intention to demonstrate that the most of our moral ideas (such as shame, responsibility and the like) are related to a Person: God. This conclusion, as we intend to show, refutes Naturalism.
