Uma renovação filosófica

What are logical, cosmological, and practical conditions required for us to think about the historical viability of a project of social autonomy? Such a question undeniably and immediately mobilizes the tradition of thought and implies, to that extent, overcoming the impasses that this tradition has perpetuated. Such was the original philosophical project constructed by Castoriadis in the early 1960s. Taking into account the requirements and critical limits of this project, Vincent Descombes seeks in this paper to discuss the main contributions of this demanding thought to philosophy and political theory, but also to understand our present and the epistemology of contemporary knowledge.
