A instabilidade da universidade vista à partir das contradições de suas crises: crise da hegemonia, crise de legitimidade e crise institucional

Abstract: The article shows the crisis that the University is going through, form three angles of analysis: the “hegemony” crisis, as loss of the university power regarding to the society; the “legitimity” crisis, as loss of the society belief in the solvability character of the institution; and the institutional itself, when, due to the lacks above refered, there is a social request for modifying the structure models of this institution. Key-Words: Hegemony, Legitimity, University: Institutional crisis.   Resumo: O texto mostra a crise pela qual passa a universidade sob os três ângulos de análise: a crise de hegemonia, como perda de poder da universidade com a sociedade; da legitimidade, como perda da crença da sociedade no caráter solucionador da instituição; e da instituição em si, quando, em virtude das falências acima citadas, há pressão social por modificar os modelos estruturais desta instituição.
