The proposal consists of presenting the implications that the concept of measure has for understanding systematic Hegelian thought. Therefore, the object of study is the second chapter, entitled "The Real Measure," present in Hegel's Doctrine of Being in the Science of Logic, specifically sections A, B, and C. Measure, in its dimension of self-subsistence, it presents itself as a relational unit. Therefore, open to engendering new relationships, which are, in themselves, relationships of measurement to constitute a relational whole. In its independence from one reaction unit to another, the measure operates freely, without any type of determination, which is why it can be considered real. And in its dimension of reality, the measure presents an overcoming of sequential moments of external immediacy, of diverse relationality, converging in the turning on itself of an elective affinity. By providing further clarification on the concept of measurement, the aim is to reiterate the dimension of flexibility and openness that the Hegelian system demands.
