CURRENT DEBATES IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF QUANTUM MECHANICS: INTRODUCTORY NOTE

We are very pleased to introduce the reader to this special issue on the philosophy of quantum mechanics, in this new series of Cadernos de História e Filosofia da Ciência (Cahiers of History and Philosophy of Science). The main theme of this issue concerns the philosophy and foundations of quantum mechanics, broadly understood. Scientists and philosophers around the world keep producing research on such issues, so it would be interesting to provide for a small note on how these papers were gathered and the context in which this issue originated.
