this article discusses the theory of value-dissociation, formulated by the German philosopher Roswitha Scholz. Based on Marx's commodity analysis and Adorno's critical theory, Scholz explains male sexual domination by commodity fetishism. It exposes how the female inferiority is an essential model for the consolidation of the value form: the division between public and private spheres and the attribution of the concretization of value as a male responsibility generates female dissociation and a corresponding differentiation between two psychosocial and symbolic cultural spheres, a division, in the last case, between superiority and inferiority. We intend to demonstrate that the union of commodity fetishism with the relation of domination between the sexes demonstrates the clear need for their joint critique as a critique of the ontological categories that keeps our consciousness in the idea of an unquestionable reality.
