El problema de las masas en la estética Alemana: Técnica y cultura en Benjamin y Adorno

The present work reconstructs how for the thinkers like Walter Benjamin and Theodor Adorno, inscribed in the critical tradition of German Aesthetics of the early twentieth century, the appearance of the masses as a new political subject was entirely related to the phenomenon of technique. For this end, the work explores ruptures and continuities that exist in the explanation of these authors about the cultural phenomena associated with the masses such as cinema, photography, and new media. Finally, we add to the debate considerations that pretend to update the approach of these authors in the light of our present.
