Informações culturais:: refletindo sobre a formação de estudantes de cinco cursos universitários

Observando a educação no terceiro grau verifica-se que a preocupação central das escolas e dos estudantes tem sido o dominio técnico e tecnológico. A formação critica e humanista, embora apareça nos objetivos do curso, não tem se realizado como praxis. Partindo destas observações procurou-se verificar a expressão cultural de estudantes. Universitários de: Arquitetura, Jornalismo, Computação, Pedagogia e Serviço Social. Foram abordadas as várias áreas culturais. Os resultados mostram, em sentido geral, baixo desempenho na expressão cultural, o que aponta para a necessidade de um aprofundamento reflexivo sobre o papel da universidade na formação cultural do aluno e levantam questões sobre o profissional do futuro.   ABSTRACT:   Through the analysis of education at the third grade, is noticed that the main concem of schools and students has been the technical and technological domain. The critic and the humanistic formation, although appearing at the course objectives, haven't been realized as it should in practice. Starting from this observation, we tried to verify the cultural expression of university students from: Architecture, Journalism, Computation, Pedagogy and Social Services. Were aborded the cultural areas. The results show that, in general sense, a bad performance at the cultural expression, fact that shows the necessity of a reflexive deepen about the function of university at the cultural formation of the student and raise questions about the professional of the future.
