Lei divina e lei humana no Tratado Teológico-político de Espinosa

This article aims to examine the first paragraphs of Chapter 4 of Spinoza's Theological-Political Treatise to understand the Spinozian concept of Law, with a special interest in the notions of divine law and human law. The analysis starts from the absolute sense of law, as necessary determination, which is divided into laws dependent on the necessity of nature and laws dependent on human decision, and will show how the second type of law is ontologically absorbed by the first, while still retaining its importance from an imaginary standpoint.
