Por uma 'economia política da natureza' e do trabalho

In this article we intend to investigate the origin and scope of the concept of Political Economy of Nature, when applied to the indigenous struggle for the demarcation of their territories, in confrontation with the dynamics of the interests of the capitalist commodification of land and so-called 'natural resources', through the analysis of the foundations of political economy, with emphasis on its conceptualization of work. Next, we will survey the historical-materialist reading of these phenomena, to finally compare these theories with the anthropological perspective of the “value” of work and the social division of wealth in societies not articulated by the self-regulated market.
